OtherThis section will probably get quite large, as there are so many things that could be covered here. The table of contents should help you navigate quickly to things of interest. Basic Table of Contents (Directory)
In 2026 I decided to change this website.🦊 Most traditional websites have a home page with lots of details about the site, a landing page (old school), or like a lot of blogs: a brief outline. But I like the idea of how social networks work; they make short catchy posts, and I added a read on option if I thought that the short post might have some interesting additional information (which is not strictly adhering to the rule of a short post; except for some social network premium plans). I also kept the idea of a blog, and some short posts lead to a full article or story, with its own page (just like blogs like doing). I had to change the navigation buttons on some pages, as I realized that on smaller screens the buttons don't fit very well, but I have not attempted to make the navigation for very small screens or mobile telephones, so my website might not be suitable for some devices [yet]. My initial aim for this website was to keep things as simple as possible... but I do realize that a lot of people are into using mobile telephones, and in some countries, people don't have access to a computer (only a mobile telephone); so I will keep that in mind if I decide to upgrade this website, assuming that squeezing all this info a tiny screen is even possible. By keeping this website simple, I hope it acts as a solid example to anyone who wants to make a website, and all the global community has easy access to the things that I can do. Maybe some people in the global community will decide to make specialized websites for the mobile telephones, or very small screens, that is based on a similar model to my design; all I can say is go for it. I think I will produce a certain emoji or picture with short posts that lead to articles or stories that probably resemble a news paper, magazine, or blog; so readers will get the clue to get comfortable and settle in for a long read. That is not so suggest that blogs, news papers, and magazines don't have short easy to read articles and stories, because they do, but when you click this link it will take you to a separate webpage, instead of a long list of posts. So this website is now a hybrid of a social network and a blog, but most people will initially see the short post, so you could say that my website is dominantly a social network. Obviously this type of web site social network is joined to the global community in a similar way that a blog is. I might mention what other people are saying, but you won't be able to see what people are saying unless I provide a link for you (just like what happens on blogs). Because this website is a simple design, it does not have a easy way to leave a comment, but I think I have that covered, as I plan to link to my blog and create a special page on that blog that is related to this website so you can leave a comment there if you want to. In my experience people don't tend to leave a comment, so that page will probably never be used... but feel free to surprise me. I will be promoting this website with my other social networks, and blogs. So I think this website will get some visitors and love. I also plan to use this website as my "id reference" to any pictures I make, which might also draw the occasional visitor or artist. Unlike the social networks, the page you land on will have a few recent posts and some of the posts will be held in history. I did not want to clutter the landing page with endless information, just a snap shot of the most recent news. I also put posts in categories (at least that is what I am calling them now), represented by buttons so you can focus on certain topics, and find posts relating to that topic. Unlike social networks, I will not keep every post I do, some will expire and disappear. some privacy apps promote this feature, but to me, most people don't tend to search your history, but I must admit that some people on social networks do search for certain keywords... but I don't know if the algorithms cut the search list off after a certain date... and even if it doesn't most people will not scroll down a huge list. If I really like a particular post, there is no reason why I can't record it elsewhere and post it again at some future date. The websites I use have a limit to the amount of space I can use also, so not keeping all the posts also seems to be a wise move. Thanks for visiting this "social network" and "blog, newspaper, magazine" and I hope you enjoy your time here. ❧

The "Other" page is still under development, but is is likely to feature a huge list of things, as there are so many things and topics that can go into this section.
If the article (story) is long it will be separated into sections (pages). This divider represents the end of a section (page). End Notes1) Please note, I may decide to make some posts and links expire (be deleted); so not everything that could go into Other will end up here. Check out the posts so you don't miss anything. And if I really like the post, I may store it some place else and re-post it at some other date, or go back to the photographer, poet, or artist and choose something new they have produced. |
